Dual sealed subs using RL-s12's?

I'm looking forward to see how it turns out. I'm hoping to build the exact same thing, but with a different shaped box (I want to build pedistal-shaped subs so I can turn them into full-range speakers later).

With that driver, it has a vent on the back of the magnet section called the "pole vent" make sure that you have room that the pole vent is not blocked by the bracing as it needs to breath for cooling the voice coil.

Just looking at the brace and your tape measure that is the first thing that comes to mind.... so be aware of it.. If it is close, you should probably drill a hole in that brace for air to flow freely.

See here the hole on the bottom

Thanks!
I had noticed the hole, but didn't know it needed air circulation. Certainly things will be tight, so drilling the hole will probably be the ticket. I may just flush mount it because I've been thinking "down-firing subs in end tables". The only disappointment to this plan is there are inserts where the feet are currently located. One side of the end table has to go against the wall or the sofa.
