The benefit of mid-bass module is not just ultra light cone woofer (which means that it is very efficient at reproducing mid/upper bass). Having a separate module allows one to position the deep bass subwoofer in a location that is ideal for deep bass reproduction (ie. front corner), while positioning the mid-bass module in a location that is ideal for mid-bass reproduction (ie. close to the listening position). Also, there is lower intermodulation distortion (since the mid-bass can no longer be modulated by the deep bass), and wider dynamic range (since mid-bass output is no longer in any way limited by deep bass demands on the system). A combination of these factors is why most of our customers report a huge improvement in system performance after using the module in their system.
