As in one in the front and one in the rear, or as in two in the front? If the latter, why? I don't recommend it.

two in the front. above and below the screen. Only because I read in review that the center had a tough time keeping up with the M80's on the side

You don't. Use one center channel.
Actually Axiom audio recommends dual centre channels in certain situations. There are many Axiom owners that use dual centre channels and report amazing results. I have heard Axiom owners using dual vp150's, dual m2's, dual m22's, even a vp100 on top of the t.v and and the vp150 on the bottom.

My advice to you is to go to Axiom audio message board and pose this question there. Like I said before there are many people that use dual centres and you can get alot of feedback there from the members and even Axiom's audio experts which post on the forum. They are a knowledgeable bunch!

I'll save you the trouble right now and tell you my story.

I bought 2 center speakers - two Defintive CLR3000 speakers (28Hz-20kHz +/-3dB per Tom Nousaine).

I also thought that 2 is better than one, right?:D

Wrong.

Why? It's called Comb Filtering. Some of the sounds cancel out while some added up. It just did not sound right. So I returned one center speaker.

My fronts are the 53" tall BP7000SC towers. I did try using one 48" BP7001SC tower as the Center, and it sounded fantastic.

But the key is using just ONE center speaker.

If you insist and must use dual center speakers, just make sure you can return one without restocking fees if you need to.
