I need some serious advice here as my head is spinning. I like my big Mirage M5si bi polars which are actually just two way, but the bi polar sound is too big for my small room. its only 10 feet wide though there is good distance to each side. My speakers are pulled 3 feet out and I'm right against the opposite wall in my listening chair. This leaves me les than 7 feet from my chair, closer to 6. I'm looking to go to smaller speakers that will still rock and have good bass (actually not these Mirages strong point) I have been looking at the used market and like the reviews of Totem Model 1 sigs and Tyler Acoustics Linbrook Sigs. The Tylers are bigger, have one more driver, and yes are more expensive. The Totems would be a local sale and hence I would also save on shipping. Price diff would be about 700 bucks cheaper in favor of the Totems after I bought stands. Anyone have experience with these two? I listen to classic hard rock, electric and acoustic blues, jazz, and some classical when in the mood. My other gear is:
