I have had several dogs over the years. A German shepherd, Schnauzer and a Lab, Beagle mix. My girlfriend doesn't know it yet, but I'm getting her a puppy for Christmas, haven't decided yet on what breed. Will most likely be a shelter pup, so I may not have too much choice. I will post when we get it.
Does anyone else see the uncanny resemblance between a teacup yorkie and an Ewok? Absolutely adorable.

My wife and I dog sat for our neighbors on Christmas eve. This is Maggie. Part Beagle part Australian Shepard. She's a good girl.

I was out of town one day and when I got home "This is Harry the Pitbull, he's 6 months old".

Harry's now 10 months old, sweet, smart, and stubborn. Loves my wife, follows her around constantly, very loyal, not a mean bone in that dogs body

Thanks Adam, she was my first, raised from a baby pup and and the queen of our pack. Frank (puggle)and Tess (blue heeler)are doing well and I hope will be with us for good while.
For all the sorrow that the passing of a beloved pet/ family member brings, the good times and memories are more than worth it. The picture in my above post of her was taken the night before she passed.
On a lighter note, here's Frank and I last weekend near Vail-

I'm sorry to hear that mac. I had my little guy pass away this summer and it sucked, especially because we couldn't be there with him at the end. My condolences.

Alex, I'm really sorry to hear about your little guy. I might be forgetting that you posted that before, but I didn't realize that he'd passed. I know that you wanted to be with him. Just know that you brought him many years of joy and comfort, as we could all tell from your pictures of him.

I hear that, I love my two Dogs. My Airedale is 13 now and is having a difficult time. I think this will be the last year she is with us.
