Does anyone bi-amp with multichannel amp?

Holly cow, I have been observing a few TFM-45s on ebay and one was bid for $450.
The guy who sold me the amp has the CT-17 and he is asking for $150. It think it's good price too but I probably don't need to replace my HK PT2500.

At this price point for stereo only I would advise looking for a used Adcom stereo preamplifier. Not many "dolby pro logic" preamplifiers make good stereo preamplifiers. Keep an eye out for one with a remote.

That said, it doesn't seem like a bad price. I personally wouldn't purchase it, but then I have no use for it either.

No, I don't really need a pre-amp.
Anyway. I was surprised when I picked up the TFM-45. It doesn't look like it could put out 375W/ch due to its size and weight. I have seen many amps that are much larger and provide only 250w/ch. The other amps just use too much space?
