if my neighbors lived as close to me as some of yours, i probably would be on a first name basis with the city police!!:D i cannot count how many nights (12 - 1 am) that i have played multiple concert dvd's at very high levels. believe it or not, that is how i relax before bed most nights. something soothing about feeling what you are listening to and watching. zappa plays zappa late at night really does the trick!

I have a great sense of humor. Your remark about killing someone was out of line. As far as "trolling" goes, you're in a thread about subwoofers and threatening people over noise. *Pot meet kettle*
hahahaha so true.

what a tool

Thank God the family upstairs has 3 small kids, running around and screaming all the time. Its a great excuse to blast it anytime i hear them crying scream even late at night. They never bother me but i have the answer ready. "What do you mean its late? Your kids make more noise than me and i' m not complaining". :D

Yeah, the neighbors finally complained about my new sub. I guess it is louder then I thought. I was watching the end of Max Payne, there is a short scene after the credits. The end of the scene has an insane bass pulse that shook the doors and windows, probably the neighbors too. It was midnight, and my neighbor is a cop..oops  Just thought I would share.
is this in an apartment? :)

I think I just underestimated how powerful my sub is. My DIY kappa 12.1 is my first "real" sub. Also, the homes in my neighborhood are very well insulated. We live right next to the railroad tracks, and during the winter when the house is closed up, we can barely hear the train inside the house. I was quite surprised that my sub would bother the neighbor knowing how soundproof my home is.
lmao! that's awesome

If I play my music at levels way louder than I like, you still can't hear anything while standing in my driveway. During a movie, you can just make out the sub, but it's very faint. Inside the house is another story. Had some friends over to watch Polar Express one time. One person had gone to the rest room (on the other side of the house). She came running out after the train went through screaming, "What the h'll was that?!"
