I just upgraded my Directv to the new Genie and it comes with a different remote (the RC71 that is a rf). I am also looking to upgrade my Surround sound receiver. What I would like to do is to find a receiver that I can control from the RC71 remote. I want it to be seamless and simple without having to change modes to adjust the sound. I want the sound button to control the volume on just the surround sound receiver and the power button to control both TV and suround sound. It has got to be simple for my wife. Any suggestions?
