Dirac Mic gain setting?

Onkyo RZ70. Umic 1.

I have read and watched different videos all saying different things re: volume calibration with dirac. Some say to crank the mic gain all the way up while some say to minimize it.
Trying to get a consensus on what's right and what's wrong.

I don' think there is consensus because everyone's use case may be different. Obviously too low or too high is no good because of the associated noise and distortions so typically one should try the range between 50% to maximum, and if in between works well, that is, no noise issues and no noticeable distortions than you are good to go.
