Dilemma Keep Marantz SR8500 or go to Emotiva LMC-1/LPA-1?

Hello,
I'm in a dilemma I've been doing some research here lately and came across this interesting package from Emotiva "LMC-1/LPA-1." I do not have any experience with this item but it seems to be well praised by everyone that uses it.

Here is my current setup for Audio/Theater:
--Marantz SR8500
--Klipsch RB-75 Mains
--Klipsch RC7 Center
--Klipsch RS7 Rears
--Paradigm PDR 10 Subwoofer

My movie experience I think is excellent, incredible dynamics and balance after careful tweaking. The one thing that is lacking is reproducing of music. I know the RB75's can sing I just need the best route to help them.

Here are my ideas:
--Marantz SR8500 connected with LPA-1 amp...
--Emotiva LMC-1/LPA-1...

Any other suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks in advance,
Keith

Keep the Marantz add amplification to it if necessary using it as a pre/pro.

With sensitivity of 97 dB and impedance of 8 ohm compatible I doubt your speakers would benefit much from your proposed upgrade for more power. If possible, borrow a 300WX2 amp from someone for a day and see if you hear/like the difference. If there is no audible difference, you may want to upgrade the speakers instead.

Im in agreement with seth & peng on this one,if i were you i'd go to my local "guitar center" store & buy a 300 watt or 400 watt amp, bring it home & test that puppy out, then if it made a difference keep it,if not take it back for a full no questions asked refund.

Im pretty well known at my local guitar center,i do this quite a bit but i do end up keeping alot of the gear.
