I had issues with my two channel system where I would lose the right channel intermittently and tapping on the volume control brought it back. Instead of dropping the pre-amp to the technician for a 5 month hiatus, I thought I would order a can of Dexoit and give it a shot. It worked very well.

Did you use much of it? I've heard a little goes a long way with that stuff.

Haha, that stuff saved an old integrated amp I have that had some uncooporative buttons and knobs. Then the channels started cutting out, possibly like the OP's but I never made the connection to the volume knob. Can you clarify what parts you hit with the Dioxit so I can give it a try on mine? I always figured it was something else but that makes sense especially since I had issues with the other controls. Only problem is I'm not sure where my can is and I don't want to buy another one knowing I have a nearly full can somewhere, lol!
