Denon x6200w issue

I was streaming some video content in my HT two nights ago and during one of the shows every speaker in my setup started emitting this very loud high pitched distorted screeching sound. I tried multiple sources and cables and every source has the same weird distorted sound. I reached out to Denon and they are advising me to send my unit in for service. I did try unplugging from power and plugging back in after a couple of mins. Any suggestions from the pros here?

You could also try a microprocessor/system reset...

Do you have headphones? Disconnect the speakers and listen through those and if it returns, it may need to be sent in.

What source was being used when this happened?

Obviously some circuit has become unstable and is oscillating. Do not use it. Send it in for service. I just hope it has not damaged a tweeter or more. That is just the sort of failure you don't want to happen.
