This is ridiculous. Why bother to announce something that can't happen for 12-24 months? Luckily, there's IEEE1394 already in existence for digital connections of SACD and DVD-Audio data. I've yet to see anything from Denon demonstrating that Denon Link has any advantages over IEEE1394. Sounds like Denon is shooting itself in the foot, yet again, on this subject. If Denon is convinced that Denon Link has some advantage over IEEE1394, then they've just encouraged anyone considering a Denon Link product to defer their purchase for 1 to 2 years. Very smart marketing... Who's running this outfit?
