"DENON AVC-X3900H brings an advanced solution for users who want a powerful and modern AV receiver for home theater and multi-channel sound. This 9.4-channel model builds on the capabilities of the X3800H platform, with a refreshed front-end design and additional enhancements for wider compatibility with new generations of sources and displays.

The device offers 105 W per channel with an emphasis on real performance in operation, as well as 11.4-channel processing for more flexible speaker system configurations. A new 32-bit 8-channel DAC is installed for better audio reproduction, and modern connectivity options such as wireless surround operation with Denon Home 200, 400 and 600 speakers are also supported.

Highlights include Low Latency Bluetooth RX/TX via LE Audio technology, playback of Dolby Atmos Music content via AirPlay 2, and Dirac Live Ready support. There are also additional advanced options such as input channel monitoring, Dolby Atmos Channel Expander function, Web UI 2.0 interface, HDMI Diagnostics 2.0 tool, new Center Bi-Amp mode for 5.1 configuration and 1440p pass-through support with AMD FreeSync compatibility."

AVR-X2900H DAB listed too. It looks like they have added front l/r pre-outs which were missing from the X2800H and also Dirac Live ready which should be big step from the abysmal MultEQ XT, right @PENG ?!

The DENON AVR-X2900H is designed for users who want a modern AV receiver for high-quality multi-channel audio, easy connectivity and advanced home theater features. This 7.2-channel model brings improvements based on the AVR-X2800H platform's features, with a refreshed front design and upgraded HDMI hardware for better compatibility with new generations of video sources.

The device delivers 95 W per channel with an emphasis on actual performance, and is equipped with a new 32-bit 8-channel DAC for improved sound quality. It also supports wireless surround connectivity with the Denon Home 200, 400 and 600 speakers, allowing for greater flexibility when setting up the system in space.

The Low Latency Bluetooth RX/TX is powered by Low Latency Bluetooth RX/TX via LE Audio technology, Dolby Atmos Music playback via AirPlay 2, and Dirac Live Ready support for Room Correction. Advanced features such as Input Channel Monitoring, Web UI 2.0 interfaces, HDMI Diagnostics 2.0 diagnostics, and 1440p pass-through support with AMD FreeSync compatibility are available.

The DENON AVR-X2900H is a great solution for users looking for a reliable and modern AV receiver with a focus on quality surround sound, flexible connectivity and readiness for modern audio-video systems.

I hope the X2900H has two discrete subouts.

Very unlikely to have as they need to save most of the important features/connections for the 3000 serie. It should not cost much to implement those same as pre-outs for power amp, right? Still we don`t see them in any lower mid-range products. They want us to spend more for higher models.

There's way for them to keep the same budget but still achieve those basic goals, for example, if I were in their engineering/marketing team I would want them to replace the 7.1 with 5.1 but two discrete subouts, cost would then likely be the same. The best would be just provide 8 channels discrete and make two of them assignable, but then marketing people are smart in luring people to buy things they may not need but think they need and/or coerce them to buy the higher models that gives them higher margin lol..

Fact is, quality of bass is king, in terms % contribution to perceived sound quality (see Dr. Toole's articles/books). With RC such as Audyssey, Dirac Live, two discrete subs would make significantly better bass quality.
