I have a Marantz av8802a and did calibrations, it analyses and saves it but when I go to lesson to it, all levels are at 0. Same thing with a denon x4200.
What am I missing. thanks

You mean you're running Audyssey on both units and somehow they both reset themselves? Did you save the setup at the end of the routine?

Unusual two different units would do a reset like that, sounds like the user is still at root. Maybe explain exactly how you're going about it....

That's the way it usually is, something you just aren't doing/remembering.....to be safe you might start with a full reset just for the heck of it before starting the Audyssey routine, even though that should be automatic in running the routine.

What do you mean by "save it"?

I don't recall the AV8802A or X4200W has a "save" stip. The last step of the process is as shown in the following:

All I meant by saving is approving the end of the routine where the avr keeps it. Newer ones you have multiple save options via both avr/app. Would still like to go thru the whole process and see what's going on as I just would find that both units failing in the same way a bit odd....

I haven't calibrated without the app in a while, are you selecting a preset at the end of running the room correction?

His models are pre-app (at least the Denon 4200). Don't think multiple presets came along until later than the editor app, too.
