Denon 3808 vs. Yamaha 3800 receivers

I'd go with the Denon simply because Yamaha tends to have issues with HDMI. Denon has been really good with HDMI since they started using them.

What potential issues are there with the Yamaha HDMI?

My RX-V1800 has an annoying sound and picture dropout when an action requiring the use of the OSD thru HDMI is activated. The work around I use is simply "Don't do that". But it doesn't make it easy to take.

I'm not sure if the Denons perform better on this or not.
