I have a Denon 2910 multidisk player that is not playing disks of any format more than about 30 seconds into the track. I can advance to other tracks on any disk, and I still get the same result. It starts over on any selected track after the 30 second or so interval.
The warrant is expired. I bought it refurbished about a year and a half ago from an authorized Denon dealer.
If any body has any troubleshooting/repair suggestions, please let me know?
I have a lot of experience with auto controls and electronics repair and a BS degree in Industrial Electronics. So, if someone has experience with this type of problem, would you be kind and point me in the right direction?

Update!
I cleaned the lazer to no avail- it was not dirty.
Just for GP after the lazer cleaning did not remedy the problem, I removed and then replaced all ribbon connectors etc.
The 2910 is now working properly.
Hopefully, it was just a bad connection.
If the problem occurs again, I will suspect a cold solder.
For now I'm relieved!
I have a Pioneer 578A as a backup unit, but even though it is a decent unit for the price, It does not touch the 2910 in audio or video playback.
