For HT, an AV receiver with Audyssey built in fine. For two channel use I would try to treat the hell out of the room in the hope of avoiding EQing all together. In my system, I have two GIK Tri Traps and Audyssey auto EQ on my receiver and I am very satisfied with that for music and HT. On my subjective audio scale of one to ten, the Tri Traps improvement is an eight and the auto EQ is a three. I could be happy with my system without Audyssey, but I would not part with the Tri Traps if music is in the mix.
