ok- here is the deal.
my wife has been griping about the fact that there are seemingly speakers everywhere in our living room. the living room is sorta small, so i kinda see her point.

anyhow, i'd like to replace my infinity bookshelf speakers with something smaller- preferably with something the size of bose cubes or just slightly bigger. thing is- i bet i can find something that sounds a lot better than bose cubes ;)

anyone have any recommendations?

thanks

Yes, I rather enjoy Tom's reviews. Though a little sparce on the technical info, they're much more pleasant to read.

I feel when I read Clint and Gene's review that is more like Binary code. :D

Maybe something from KEF? The KHT 3000 might work. How about the Klipsch RSX line?

100101101010 10 10101001 001010110 10101011 01101 100101 0101. So there.

Another system that doesn't get a lot of attention is RBH's CT 5.1 system... those things are small, but they have a separate tweeter/woofer configuration and get you some really good sound. They can wall mount easily. The sub is small as well, though powerful if it isn't put into a large room - and certainly more accurate than most subs you'll find with any of the HTiB or cube systems...

throw away the plants, potpourri bowls, various knicknacks, and anything not related to the A/V system. then the living room will look bigger and the speakers will fit in.

M&K Xenon 25s are slightly bigger than cubes, but still very small at 6-3/16 H x 3-7/8 W x 5-3/4 D. Between these, the Bose cubes and Mirage's Omnisat Micros, these sound far superior.

Ah, as opposed to my "fake" 1's and 0's - you dork, lol.
No no, as in, if you put it into, lets say, a TRANSLATOR, it will actually say something.

Yours on the other hand, is just you hitting your keys in a random manner.
