Crossover Manufacturing

I wondered if anyone would know where to go to have a crossover network designed and manufactured for specific components.

I'm not interested in building the crossovers myself.

I take it your primary concern is with developing the basic crossover for specific individual drivers, not with upgrading parts on an existing speaker. If so, the only way to get reliable results is to send a test cabinet of the same dimensions as the final speaker, along with the drivers, to someone who is skilled in crossover design. The baffle dimensions and driver layout are critical to the design, and simply importing a factory plot into design software won't get you where you need to go. Rick Craig provides crossover design and building service. Phil Bamberg would also probably be interested. I've done many designs this way in return for a donation to my orchestra. The important thing, however, is to get a test cabinet to the designer.

Well, it ain't the New York Phil. But it is a philharmonic. Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic. It's actually pretty good despite my participation. The winds and brass are from
the Marine Corps and Air Force bands and orchestras, so they're crackerjack. The second chair viola? Not so much.
