i am so glad i found this forum... i am new and hoping to get some help with connecting my new philips dvdr. i have a digital cable box through cox with HBO and other channels. The problem I am having is that i connected it like in the user manual but all i get is a fuzzy picture when recording.
i tested it without using the cable box and it recorded fine. it also worked to record one channel while watching another when I ommitted the box.
Is there a trick to hooking it up with a cable box?
