Cool : 3D animation from still images

Just saw this interesting post on Giz on the "magic" transformation of still images into 3D animation.

It actually only took less than 5 minutes to do. I stepped the raw image +1 stop and -1 stop, then merged the 3 in CS5 and tinkered with the settings until I got what I wanted.

I am by no means a PS expert, I mostly get it done by messing around with stuff, so it's actually pretty difficult for me to produce the same thing twice.

So no one is taken any photos? Had to dig this up four pages deep. Anyway, here is a shot of the 'Super Moon' at about 1:30 am. Taken with my Sigma 50-500 mm @ 500mm w/ 2x converter.
