Yah, one of these days I'll get a real flash, but I'm still biased towards not using one. Out of all of those pics, there really hasn't been a time where I've wished I had a flash, so I'm not really in a big hurry to get one.

So I looked a little into this, and I guess I never really thought about the fact that you can get a flash then swivel it so it's not pointing directly at the subject. I can see how that would be very useful. I've never had a stand alone flash, so it never occurred to me. Thanks for the info.

She's a bit squirmy, but every now and then I get a good one, usually when she's not paying attention (like in that one).

This one was a candid too, she didn't even know I took the pic til I showed her lol.

look nice...But turn down the contrast, man! All the details in the darks are lost. I would also try letting the greens of the flowers show too.

I don't think I changed the contrast, but I may have. The color version isn't that great actually. It was spur of the moment and I did it while walking.

I bought a car this last week, so I've been trying to find interesting places to take pictures of her. Unfortunately, she's actually really dirty because it's been raining here a lot, but I still like this picture. I did the extra blurring in Photoshop, of course.
