That’s what I was afraid of Geno. I much prefer the sound when using my Room EQ engaged vs. off. Just curious, why does using the 7.1 analog inputs bypass the processing and the toslink, digital coax, composite inputs do not? This puts me in a dilemma. Should I spend an extra $100 and get a bluray player with analog outputs and just kiss my EQ good by:-( or take that $100 and put on a cheap recover with hdmi? On the AV Rant podcast they were saying that Denon was coming out with one that is around $350. I don’t have the funds to spend another $1000 on an AVR like I did for the 3805. Will I be taking a step back when purchasing a cheaper AVR or will it be better than my old 3805? Thanks for any advice.
