I'm assuming you mean Windows 11 ?

But wouldn't I need Windows 11?

You can reinstall W10 using your vendor OEM flash drive if they provided one, or install Windows 11 from the Microsoft download site. You didn't mention the make and model of your laptops. There are workarounds for older PCs with hardware limitations.

Remember some vendors have a BIOS hash that when Windows 10 installs from any source (say their media creation tool) it just comes up activated.

I am not a geek - I upgraded my circa 2013 MS Surface to Win 11 Pro which came with Win 7 pro, later upgraded to Win 10 pro. The processor is incompatible with Win 11. There are good YouTube videos and written instructions for checking for compatibility and the upgrade process. Win 11 is loaded with bloatware from MS and slow on my computer. I found this clean up tool and it did a nice job and runs as fast as Win 10, perhaps a bit better. I am getting all the updates too. I made Win11 look and feel like Win 10 too.

Check compatibility - https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11
How to use it - https://thegeekpage.com/whynotwin11/

Install win 11in incompatible machine with RUFUS (Option 2 in this link)-- https://www.tomsguide.com/computing/your-unsupported-pc-can-still-run-windows-11-in-2025-heres-how

Debloat - https://christitus.com/windows-tool/

There is also a way to create a debloated iso. I did not use it.
