But wouldn't I need Windows 11?


You can reinstall W10 using your vendor OEM flash drive if they provided one, or install Windows 11 from the Microsoft download site. You didn't mention the make and model of your laptops. There are workarounds for older PCs with hardware limitations.

Remember some vendors have a BIOS hash that when Windows 10 installs from any source (say their media creation tool) it just comes up activated.
