The only thing you get is the Audyssey. If that is a big deal for you, fine.

For years I used to think that Pure Direct is best and that Audyssey is not useful to me.

But once I experimented more, I found that Audyssey Dynamic EQ (with Audyssey Bypass L/R) is a feature I would never do without.

I would never own any pre-pro or AVR without Dynamic EQ.

But I do agree that some people may not have any use for it. I understand completely since I felt this way for a very very long time.

Man, just got back with these HT3's and the 15" hundred and 70 lb sub. Playing them through a bottom of the line Dennon with 70 wpc. They are just Amazing. So clear in the mids and the highs are just amazing. Can't wait till Tuesday when my new Pre and Power amp get here. I think they will really like the extra 400 watts.
