Yeah, that's the reason... There's nothing wrong with being sensitive, it is only liking Coldplay that is an issue I like a few songs here and there too, but if I listen to more than a few in a row I start feeling that estrogen flowing...


Hehehe, Davemcc you should send Coldplay a letter and tell them you want them to cover the player... (j/k)

Sorry for being absent from this thread after starting it. I did get the Cambridge DVD89. I looked long and hard at the Oppo, but after shipping to Canada, exchange, brokerage and taxes, I guess I only payed a little bit more and I supported my local independent audio store.

I wouldn't mind salvaging the Samsung if possible, but I wouldn't know where to start.

That's a good price for that player, much closer to the U.S. price than I would have guessed.
