Clear Focus OG advice. $600

There is a pair of Focus OG for sale for $600, but it's a bit of a drive for me. I'm coming from audio Technica MTX 50, which has been my go-to for years and I really like as they seem neutral without being too muddy or too bright. With those of you have experienced with the Clear Focus OG, do you think it would be something worth checking out? I've been wanting to upgrade my headphones for a while, it's just hard to test them out and find something I really want.
I also want something that sounds great using an easy source, like my phone. Eventually I'll probably look at DAC's and amps, just can't afford it all at once and want to enjoy the headphones until then. Looks like they are pretty easy to drive.

So I bought the Clear Focus used locally, brought them home and started to listen. I've had a Fiio E10k Dac sitting around for a long time and have never used it. The headphones sounded good on my phone, which I took as an easy source, but I wasn't that impressed. But, I got them for a good price and figured I could resale them without much loss. $525. I was happy with that, but not impressed and got them more of a intro to open backs and to see what I thought after some listening. Well....Tried them just through the computer jack, and they sounded really good. So much better than my phone, but it's a laptop and nothing to write home about. Next I hooked them up to my Fiio, which I know is low end, but man, I got chills. It's a different feel to the music. I'm coming from MTX 50's, which I still think are great cans, so I'll have to think about what to do with them. I'm worried I'm about to journey to a place that costs a lot of money and many lies to the wife about how much stuff costs. Anyway, just wanted to let anyone looking at the Focus that they are great. More bass than what I was expecting, very clear vocals and just smooooooth. The soundstage isn't huge on them, so that's a little disappointing as I was hoping for some crazy change, but it's certainly bigger than my MTX50's. So.....I guess my next step is to find a better DAC and see what that does. I see a few under $300, so that's a good next step for me. If anyone likes the sound of the MTX50's, I'd highly recommend checking out the Clear OG.
