Seriously, I have no life.
With real estate prices being what they are I don't see how CC can be a brick-and-mortar retailer and still turn a profit.
WalMart regularly talks local governments into footing the bill for a new store and then, they leave before the agreed occupancy is over. Lowe's does the same, sometimes and in one local case, the city sued Lowe's over it and then, WalMart came to the rescue. With the number of closures of stores, factories and other retail spaces, finding something at a good price isn't that hard.

Nope, they had their chance, the economy is in even worse shape than when they got out of the game, plus it's being run by ex Radio Shack execs, not to mention the Radio Shack type store size, they are done before they open the doors.

Well I have nothing against them, I enjoyed the scene in Chicago where I had a CC, BB, and Sears all within a very short walk of each other. Close enough to play the "we'll beat any price" game against all three sometimes. Really ticked off a couple sales guys. LOL
I do wish them well, special considering it sounds to be a USA owned and operated company. We have too many foreign interests here all ready.

I suggest you first stay with an online presence then buy buildings as more funding becomes available like restaurants that fail within the first year. competition is stiff at first

Had friends that worked at CC before "management" made all their great decisions - they were doing fine for themselves and earning a living. Then that all went to crap when professional sales reps were replaced by lumpkins laid-off from something else and working for minimum wage if that.

CC mismanagement is proof positive of the one joke that some stand-up comedian used to tell; no one in the USA should be allowed to earn an MBA unless they also bring to school the decapitated head of an MBA holder.

Restaurants are easy, when the margins drop they just burn them down. LOL

Hi guy's, I can see how ordering from inside a store would work but only if there are very attractive financing options that are only available in person?? The choice of items to see in-store will be an important factor in success. I would not buy a TV or audio gear without seeing or hearing it 1st. Best Buy has a good combo of med to high end stuff to look and listen to. They have the stuff in the store for you to walk out with as well as financing or cash back options. It will be a hard sell, prices will have to be lower for this to work. I wish them luck!!!!

Circuit City failed due to miserably bad dishonest unethical untrustworthy customer service that didn't stand behind their product or work (car stereo installations).

They deserved to fail in every way. Good riddens.
