Not sure this is the correct forum for this, so let me know if I need to repost it.
I bought 4 Ciare NDC8-3's for a 4-way install in my boat. I have yet to find any reviews on these speakers so I just wanted to give a little positive feedback on these.
Initially I was looking for an 8" woofer that had a fairly wide low mid range. Price was not really an object, and I wound up finding these on US Speaker Parts on sale. I compared them to some Eminence and Radian's, but ultimately these won out.
I put these in sealed boxes with 375 watts at 4 ohms going to each 8". These things pop hard and crisp. They're designed beautifully and have a significant weight to them, even with their neo magnets. I have yet to tune them correctly because I was giving them plenty of time to break in, but my initial impression is these things were worth the money! I'm very proud of these little Italian 8's!!!
