Hi

Blast from the past amongst all these questions about 5.1,6.1, etc.:)

I have a pair of Celestion Ditton 110 speakers in beautiful condition, 8ohm 60W.
Unfortunately the Base Driver in one has burnt out its coil (so I'm told), anyway, only the tweeter works.:(

I don't believe Celestion make these anymore, or an equivalent.

Can anyone tell me where I might get a replacement driver?

Ok, I own up, I have a 5.1 system upstairs, but the downstairs really misses the great sound from these 20yr old Celestions.;)

Cheers

Dont replace them REBUILD THEM.

If i were in your shoes which i have been many times i'd get the woofers completely rebuilt right from the bare basket,i have an excellent speaker rebuilder that i use who does an excellent job rebuilding drivers from the basket up,ive had my klipsch k horn woofers done there, they also completely rebuilt every last driver in a pair of jbl l250 ti's for me along with various other speakers over the years, mcintosh, altec ect.

The most recent was a pair of 15" woofers for the k horns, total rebuild cost was $60 for each woofer,if your interested in talking with the company here is their phone number.

Michigan sound reinforcement.
