Hello:
I really know nothing about wiring speakers and need help. I have no idea what parallel or seriers wiring is.
I understand how to wire 2 speakers in a room to the knob and then to the receiver - just 14/2 from each speaker to the knob and then 14/4 from the knob to the receiver.
What I need to do is wire 4 speakers in one room to the knob and then to the receiver. I understand the 14/4 from the knob to the receiver but how do the speakers get wired together and how do you run them to the knob?
The speakers I plan on purchasing say 8 ohm impedance if that helps as well.
here they are:
For only $80.62 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 8 Inches Kevlar In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair) - w/ 15 Degree Angled Woofer
I do not know what switch I will be using or receiver for that matter. I really want to get the wire in now since the room is under construction and everything is open...
I should mention that this is just for basic music in the rooms and not for any type of surround sound or media center...
thanks for the help!
