Have you seen the coating GM used on truck frames as far back as 1990? I don't know when they started using it but Simple Green did a great job of making that go away on my '90 Silverado. Oils will dissolve oil-based substances, like glue on various types of tape, waxes, that frame coating- even skin oil will help to remove glue from electrical tape.

I have used WD, but prefer PB Blaster. I used WD until I found out that PB is much faster.
over the years I've had good luck with Kroil

Yes, I've seen some epoxy based coatings as well. Never tried PB Blaster. I'll have to see if it's available in these parts.

Well its a cold day in Daytona and even a colder night tonight.

Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees are forecast, and the wind chill is in the teens, a bummer for those camping in the infield at Daytona for the 24 hr race. Race start Sat, around 58 and sunny and with a warming trend next week.,
