Ok, so i need an reciver first? not an amp? or are they same things?, is there any amps that will do a good job of powering 2 subs at abouy 400W rms or even up to 700W rms that cost around 100 pounds?
I am still confused, all this audio stuff is so much more confusing that i thought.
If i can find a guide on making a box for the particular sub's i want to get, then i can make a box good enough and it will be cheaper than buying one, so i need, Amp, 2 of those Infinity subs or even 1? and a reciver, i could use my logitech z5500 speakers, all i need to do i would of thought is plug a cable from the subs into the back of my X-FI Fatal1ty into the port thats for center/Subwoofer then i should be good to go?
I was looking at Realm of Excursion at 12" infinity perfect subs, and they dint seem that loud, of course they were louder than my z5500 lol, but the dint seem much louder than this and my z5500 sub wasent even fully maxxed out:

I suppose one powerfull sub thats capable of going loud will do for now for about 150 quid, i only really want a sub that can go really really loud with bass, my Z5500 is good enough for movies, just not when i want to play music with tons and tons of bass, of course i dont want to get an extreamly crappy crappy sub though, i havent heard a really high quality sub before, so i dont suppose even with a tottally crap sub i would think the sound quality was crap, but still would like a sub thats not tottally crap, also people say my z5500 is made for explosions, maybe thats so, and the z5500's bass quality aint good, its still good bass, just dont go loud enough
(sheep am not trying to go off topic, just comparing my z5500, and what does troll mean, i thought a troll was some wierd thing :s)
