Can we have a rational discussion about guns and why the typical arguments for gun control and its implementation won't work?

40mm grenade launchers have been legal via ATF Form 1 and a $200 tax stamp. Furthermore the actual grenades are also completely legal (in most states) via the same process but after firing it you would need to notify the ATF of the grenades destruction via using it making it silly to bother buying them. Now someone in manufacturing stainless steel shell casings that use 45 ACP primers and include instructions for a binary explosive. Several people have already had them approved by the ATF. Now you can legally own a 40mm grande launcher and ammo and reload it forever.

I just may need one of these… just no crossing State lines with it

Completely bonkers with grenade launchers!

I got some tales about Sweden handles hand grenades until they banned them recently but we still live with that as bombing in Sweden is similar to a war zone, no kidding and no joke! We got daily bombings, literally.

instrument of offensive or defensive combat and is capable of use as a weapon. Since these
gas/flare guns have a bore diameter of greater than one-half inch, fire a projectile by the means
of an explosive, and, when possessed with “anti-personnel” ammunition, are capable of use as
weapons, the combination of the gas/flare gun and “anti-personnel” ammunition is a destructive
device as defined in the GCA and NFA. As a result, registration as a destructive device is
required. Any person possessing a gas/flare gun with which “anti-personnel” ammunition will
be used must register the making of a destructive device prior to the acquisition of any “anti-
personnel” ammunition. In addition, the gas/flare guns are classified as firearms as defined by
the GCA when possessed with “anti-personnel” type ammunition.”
