I bought my first Emo product, a UPA-2 stereo amp about two weeks ago, it arrived in a few days. I set it up and discovered that the left channel had no output, I swapped out IC's and speaker cables, nothing. I thought was a blown fuse but wiggled left channel speak wire and got sound, was happy. I got out SPL meter and checked L&R speaker levels, left channel several dB lower, and then dead. I was quite discouraged by this time and called EMO Tech support and explained my problem. To make a long story short, a tested replacement was sent out the next day with no shipping charge and a return shipping label for defective unit also at no charge. Total time four days, addtional charges none!! This new unit is everything that I hoped for, bringing new life to my receiver, which has a respectable amp section, it just raised the bar so to speak, and my mains are also thankful. I can't say enough as to the service that I received and to the sound of this not so little amp, all @ $274.00 delivered. Kudos to Emotiva.

I too have experienced the same level of customer service... I exchanged two BPA-1 amps for a IPS-1 and was even refunded my original shipping charges, although I did have to pay for return shipping out of my pocket, which I was ok with since there was nothing wrong with the amps, I just wanted something different.

I had to pay shipping for my amp twice and it never was correctly fixed.

Emo hates me...
