Any of those speakers will be an upgrade to the HK's you had, although, I have that set as well and it sounds quite good for what it is. The Soundstick setup is with a subwoofer. I would take any of those speakers you showed, but would opt for a more powerful amp with them, instead of the minimum.

The KRK is fairly ubiquitous, they are pretty decent, especially for the price. They are not the most accurate though.

But, I mainly wanted to mention about the Lepai--There is a newer model available using a TI chip, if I were looking for a Lepai Amp today, I would be looking only for the new model
