Due to room size limitations, I want wall-mounted surround sound speakers. Also, due to not wanting to pierce sound-proofing, I don't want in-ceiling atmos speakers, but again something that can be surface mounted.
What's the state-of-the-art for wall-mounted surround sound speakers these days? For side & rear surrounds and atmos.
I'm currently thinking of going with 4 pairs of SVS Prime Elevation for all my surround needs.
These will be very different to my LCR speakers (Martin Logan electrostatics), but my understanding is for movie soundtracks at least getting a good match isn't vital.
