Won't be out till October, but it's available for pre-order. This is one of my favorite Disney movies and I have no doubt they'll make this a fabulous disc as they have the other BD's they've release thus far.

Beauty was my daughter's favorite when she was young, she and I will be taking a trip down memory lane in October

Lion King next year. Probably the only one that I like better than Beauty and the Beast.

I liked Lion King too and will definitely pick it up when it's released. Personally, I like Beauty and the Beast more. IMO, Disney movies were all downhill after Lion King until the acquisition of Pixar.

I'll be buying this one and Lion King, as everyone in the house loves both. These are the two best from Disney of their recent work. Pixar doesn't count since they are essentially a separate subsidiary entity.

The announcement/trailer for Beauty and the Beast BD was on the Ponyo BD, so it isn't a secret that it was coming later this year as well as a number of other films from Studio Ghibli. Naussica is coming in July!!

On a side note James and the Giant Peach also has a release date.

Got this disc not too long ago. Everything I've come to the BR's coming out of Disney, fabulous!

I guess I'm one of the few that didn't like Beauty and the Beast. Maybe I need to see it again. My favorite Disney movie is still Aladdin.

Video and Audio is fantastic. If you don't like this movie then I don't even want to know you.
