This original IMAX film has been re-cast on 65MM. The content, image and sound quality are stunning. Great way to really enjoy that HD display and sound system. Be sure to watch the Bonus Features.
Religion, man's impact on the environment, human culture. Zero dialogue. The movie has a very good, enjoyable delivery, if not quite demo material, with some application of DNR and/or EE here and there. A few video nazis have complained, but the content makes these things more than easy to forgive.I Googled it, but I can't figure out what it's about.![]()
I watched this over the weekend. Stunning video and good audio.I watched it over the weekend. Very interesting. The lack of narration pushes it to a different level and has the impact they were intending. It shows both the beauty and mystery of the world itself, but also people and all of our idiosyncrasies. The audio and video are quite impressive.
I prefer the BBC Planet Earth series to this film, but this film has a definite impact as well. I'd say this one is a MUST SEE.
You are too funnyI started watching the special feature about "the making of" but as soon as that smug hippie started talking I had to turn it off because it was going to ruin my thoughts of the movie.
Yeah that monkey came from the stoner side of the family. He calls it perma-buzz but I think he's just a burn out. Hanging out in that pool all day long not even concerned that it's freakin' snowing? ... helloooo?!?Hey Alex, did you enjoy your little cousin taking a rest in the hot tub?
If you say so but in the film it looked way more spectacular with a more natural light being reflected and it seemed bigger but there was a lack of people so you couldn't really scale it. Thanks for the response and I will just take your word on that.* The building you refer to is the: Iman Reza Shrine complex in Mashhad, Iran.
