The Moody Blues always has two drummers.
 who?

Maybe the nostalgia act does, but the Moodies had one drummer, Graeme Edge.

Here's a little treat for you all.

This was filmed on Sunday (April 9). It's all amateur, but the audio is pretty good. I also apologize in that I think there might be a very brief r-rating from some gal who wanted a string of beads or some such.

There are no solos from the drummers, but these old timers can still rock...especially Hughie Thomasson, Fender Guitar Legend Award winner ("I have fast I haven't played yet"). LOL.

Enjoy.

I imagine most of us have broadband internet access, but...

ya' might have mentioned it's 335 Megs!

I can see why you like 'em though.:)

Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals had two drummers when I saw them play.

The best band I ever saw with two drummers was The Feelies. Incredible. They were a HUGE influence on REM. Listen to their first record "Crazy Rhythms" (1980) and then listen to REM's "Chronic Town " EP.

Pavement used two drummers to interesting effect.

There is currently a band out of Chicago called Del Rey with two drummers. Instrumental rock, and often mind-blowingly brilliant.

Bands with 2 drummers

Two immediately come to mind from the 70's... THe Doobie Brothers and Bachman Turner Overdrive. I saw both of them in concert on several occasions, and yes, there were 2 drummers...PHENOMENAL!!!!

Blue Man Group has more drummers than I can keep track of. They are also touring this year, and it is an awesome show. (Bring your earplugs, though!)

Genesis of course always tours with two drummers, Phil and Chester. They are a tough act to beat and when they are both on the drums, the songs take on new life.

Yes but do you have 'The Video Show' dvd which is all (well almost) of there video's from years past remixed in DTS 5.1? Sound is excellent. Took the dvd as a reference into Magnolia HiFi to listen to speakers before I chose the Axioms, the salesmen was so impressed with the sound that he said I had cost him the cash to go out the next day and purchase the dvd. Fortunetly he didn't try to kick my *** for my copy... geez buddy, it's only Genesis!

Yep, I've got that on DVD and love it though it bothers me they cut songs like Abacab, Duchess short and they didn't use a live version of Home by the Sea, but its still a great disc to have for any Genesis fan.

Remember the band Saga? didn't they have two drummers?

Canadian band from the mid 80s? I'm 99% sure they only had one drummer.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor uses two drummers, though being post-rock their use is sporadic.
