I also found direct replacement for the Hitachi FET 2sk1058/2sj162. Exicon ECX10N20 and ECX10P20 are direct replacement parts. You can even buy matched orders. They would need to be ordered from the UK though. Still not sure about fixing this old bird but figured I would update the information I have found.

Ati may not service B&K but I sent an email to them about getting the service manual and it was sent to me within 24 hours. Pretty damn good service!

I suppose it is a paper copy. Is there any way you can make a digital copy so you can upload it and put it on line?
If you can't, then Office Max etc. can copy it to thumb drive and then you can up load it. I had an old paper service manual for my Crown VFX-2 ans I had office max put it on a thumb drive as it was too big for my printer. It did not cost much.

Too bad they don't put them on line anyway.
