I have no clue either, but you are probably on your way to destroying a functioning speakers. If the speakers are working leave it alone. Never fix what isn't broken. Those speakers have an active bass section with a rear firing driver. I'm surprised the amp is still working. You can't recap those speakers anyway as the caps are glued to the boards with huge gobs of glue. I would say those speakers are not in any way repairable unless it is a driver and you have access to replacement drivers.
