I see there's mentioned a new amp called XPA-1
What's the difference between XPA-1 and a bridged XPA-2, or are they very similar?

You are very welcome

Well, the big event is over :(

There was tons of stuff to see and audition. Many of the items were either future releases or cutting edge development items. I'll try and finish uploading my pictures over the weekend for everybody. We were so busy over the past couple days and the internet access in the hotel was horrible (like no WiFi and little bandwidth).

But I do want to take this time to say THANK YOU to our gracious hosts...

Thank you so much for your kind words Dave.
We enjoyed delivering a wonderful event. Too bad we will not be having another one next year. I will be writing an editorial to explain more about it.
Thanks again for all your hard work.

Thanks for a Great State of the Union!

Dear Bertha & Gene,
thank you for not only your hospitality but an entertaining and informative event. The sessions I attended gave me a lot to think about and the presenters were by no means boring. The "My Amplifier is Bigger Than Yours" made me re-question past decisions & will also influence my future buys as well as how I approach A/V marketing. John Dahl from THX has made me want to spend a month re-tweaking my home theater!

I wasn't expecting CEDIA but for such an intimate get-together, the demo rooms were very surprising...quality vendors, great equipment and the demos were not only impressive but delivered by enthusiastic professionals who really knew their stuff!

Darlene & I enjoyed ourselves and were sorry we could not stay for the whole evening:(...you were wonderful hosts...Gene, you were magnificent as Zerro, the THD Bandido with your beautiful Esperanza (Bertha) at your side!

Again our thanks to you and your staff for a great time and for your invaluable service to the audio/video-philes of the world.

Its nice to put faces to the screen names. I wish I could of been there. I hope I don't have a tour next year during the conferance....It looks like you all had a wonderful time there.

Great time at SOTU

Hello all,
My wife and I had a great time, it really went by so fast!
There wasn't enough time to meet everyone; and those we did, were all interesting to talk with.

Thanks to Gene and Bertica for hosting SOTU, and to everyone that worked the event.
Your efforts really showed, nice job! My wife enjoyed it as much as I did.

Finally having the chance to match a real person to a screen name was interesting:

It is true, the Major can handle a light saber, a camera, and a drink, all at the same time.:D

TLS Guy won, for Best Male Costume; and has the trophy to prove it.

My wife bid on, and won the Emotiva XPA-2

Wayde Robson enjoys a good micro-brew as much as I do.

I'm pretty sure Loser wife cut into the Ben & Jerry's line; right in front of me, and two little kids.:D

Thanks, we had a really good time, and hello to all the members we've met.

Rick
