Gene,

I think Chris would be an excellent choice as a reviewer. But I would save his services for some of the "higher end" product lines. Better yet would be some high end tower speakers.

Something from Jim Salk would be a great start.

I think you would be an excellent speaker reviewer. Just take care of Randy Bessinger before you go building an anechoic chamber. The guy is already like 63 years old and in light of his age, I am willing to postpone reading a WmAx speaker review. :)
Yep, that's me-63 is right on the money! Thanks for thinking of me and my WmAx speakers:)

WmAX;

I'd love to fund building an anechoic chamber but that's not gonna happen in this economy :(

I'm looking for reviewers that can share their subjective experience with a product and not just show measurements and analysis. You should check out some of the loudspeaker reviews I've done and see if you can follow that type of format. There needs to be a good balance for the review to be interesting for people to read.

That's funny. Shane Rich says your theater is an anechoic chamber.
Haha not quite but its pretty dead and very quite. I plan on eventually replacing my carpets with laminate floors one day. My theater chairs really added a lot of mass to the room, more than I expected.

As stated previously, I can provide a 'subjective' review, as long as it's clearly separated from the objective data/analysis section(so that there is no confusion between hard data/analysis and the reveiwer's listening opinions), similar to Stereophile's format, except I can not possibly come up with the colorful language they use :). You would have to make do with more rational descriptions possible by a mere human. My golden ears became infected with gain green and fell off years ago. :)

I'll tear every speaker down, top to bottom, inside and out, and provide extraordinary detail of every aspect of design/construction and it's explicit implications on performance.

I'm serious about the position if you are.

-Chris

I've got a virtual anechoic chamber in between my ears ... dead space. :eek:
I'm telling you, I'm your man! :)
