Hey benbodtke, I just joined up here and have been bothering people in the newb section over logistics on almost the exact setup you're working on. I'm building 4 CTB36's for my brother-in-laws Christmas present, and was having concerns on power (or, over-power).
I think I made my decision to go with an Emotiva XPA-5 to drive the Mid-Bass and Center Channels (I got a pair of JBL CBT-70J's, which will probably be on eBay soon if Audio Artistry is planning a center channel as you say). To run the tweeters, I'm planning on a pair of Emotiva Mini-X A-100's. I guess you could say that I'm afraid, with my limited knowledge of passive monitors, of overpowering the speakers...especially the tweeters.
I think the price on the Emotiva pieces is pretty decent, and I'm on the waiting list for their XMC-1 Pre as well. The crossover Mr. Keele used in his presentations was the Deqx HDP-Express (they did all their configuration on the Behringer, but with the experience I've had with their equipment in my studio I try to stay as far away from that brand as I can), so I think that will solve all my issues (you can download the preset configurations they suggest for both the Behringer and the Deqx on their website).
For Subs, I'm using 3 Genelec 1094a's, recently retired from the studio...I know for a fact they'll shake your teeth loose, but also remain true at low (volume- and frequency-wise) levels.
I'll be interested in hearing of your progress, and hope I'm not too far behind!
