Attention all Axiom owners!

If you're wanting great speakers for watching movies Axiom are awesome.

$50 to send them back is not much considering the size of the M60's in their boxes.

What speakers have you listened to at stores in your area and are any of those compared to Axiom?

I'd go ahead and order them. Then you'll know and never have to wonder again (though really I just want to know what you think )

BTW, if i do go with axiom, id be getting m60's, vp150, qs8's surrounds.

Good choice .

I say audition both in someone else's system and then decide which to demo in your setup. The only drawback is that in someone else's system, you don't know if it is optimized through calibration, room fq compensation, etc.

Epic 60-500 6.1 set...

I ordered the set last week and expect it this friday. I have yet to order my receiver and TV upgrades (Onkyo TX-SR875 & Mitsubishi WD-57833) so I'll be stuck with awesome speaker paperweights for another month. Can't wait to get it all together and start enjoying this football season in full HD!

Has anyone ordered Axioms through their outlet section which gives you 10% off plus the 5% package discount? It would be a 15% discount for a full package. Just wanted to see if anyone has ordered this way, and if so, can you share your thoughts on the quality. what has your experience been? I thought about doing it this way, but was wondering about the quality of these speakers.

This question comes up a lot on the Axiom forum, and the near-universal answer is "I can't find any fault" or "It took a long time to find the fault". The "seconds" are speakers with imperfect vinyl coatings, so any faults are cosmetic and apparently typically very minor, and the Axiom forum regulars all heartily recommend going the Factory Outlet route.

I purchased 2-M60's, 1-VP150, 1-EP500, and 4-QS8's from the factory Outlet. The only blemish was on the EP500 on the back left corner. About 1/8th" wide by 1/2" long. A little Elmers wood glue and you can't even see it. I could not find anything else wrong with any of them. Saved 15% and they sound fantastic. It's nice to see more and more people considering the Axiom's on these forums! You will not be dissapointed. By the way, I live in a suburb of Toledo, Ohio. I suppose that's still too far to drive. Sorry!
