Atmos: yes no maybe possibly?

Hi,

i have 5.1 now in this room, but now we renovating the house, so i would like to have 5.1.4 and the problem is slanted ceiling , so Atmos yes / no / mybe?

room: cca 20x16 feet
Amp = Denon X4500
S-Speakers = HECO Victa Prime 302
Center = HECO Victa Prime Center 102
sub = Victa Prime Sub 252A
Ceiling = ?

Yes, that sloping ceiling is not ideal at all. Is there a possibility to drop the ceiling speaker on the higher ceiling side to be level with the other on the right side?

Seems to me if you can "aim" your ceiling speakers straight down even on the angled portion of the ceiling and run room calibration you'd be ok. Just make sure you provide enough separation between your .4 speakers, ideal is a 10' square around your MLP. Atmos uses reflection for effects so the angles ceiling while not ideal doesn't seem to be a deal killer.
