Keep in mind that the format for most everything now is wide screen. If you take the top and bottom black bars into account, your image will only be 14" tall and you have to have a source with analogue outputs. Whenever I get a hold of a glass CRT screen, I donate it to a local church when they do an electronics collection to raise money. Scrappers pay by the pound. ;)

Porn from the 80’s and 90’s was shot on video in 4:3 and looks terrible on modern TVs. That thing is a keeper.:D

Well, I have some “Bionic Woman” episodes on VHS as well. Not exactly porn, but some of those fembots…;)

Although tubes offered the best black levels, theres nothing in that format except for Trebdp83's porn collection and other assorted VHS. Resolution sucked and you could only get 480p if one used the RGB connectors. This means that an older upscaling AVR with RGB output is required. Too much work for not enough return. If you feel its worth it, fill your boots but I personally am not going there.

Donate it to a daycare center. They can play those silly Barney tapes on it.

Well I s'pose if you don't have anything else then yes..?
It got way better tvs , it was too awkward and bulky to fit in a car trunk . My one freind wouldn’t pick it up so I said it’s trash o well .. another working tv to the junkyard..

Sad times , could had used it with vintage ps1/2 games or something..

The best thing to do with those TVs is to make them explode. It's fun. We threw one out of a van once (when I was a much less responsible person) and it was DESTROYED itself. It was pretty cool.

Don't do what I did to blow it up, but maybe something a little less illegal.

My last CRT TV was a RCA 38" wide screen, to the the best of my knowledge the largest made. It was a beast, almost 300 lbs

It took a long time before TVs got back to that level of PQ.
